Oil or Isolate… That is the Question
When comparing Dixie Botanicals products, it’s important to understand the differences between and unique benefits of each of our CBD oil products.
Let’s compare Dixie Botanicals CBD Dab Oil and CBD Isolate to help you pick the hemp oil product that best fits your style.
Full-spectrum Oil vs. Isolate
The first point of comparison between Dixie Botanicals® Dab Oil and CBD Isolate is their cannabinoid and terpene content.
Full-spectrum hemp oil refers to pure hemp oil that features all the same cannabinoids present in the original hemp plant. This all-natural CBD oil concentrate allows the cannabinoids and terpenes to work together in what is called the entourage effect. It is important to note that full-spectrum hemp oil products like Dixie Botanicals® Dab Oil contain trace amounts of THC (under 0.3%), far below psychoactive levels.
Starting with the same CBD hemp oil available in all full-spectrum CBD products, CBD isolate is first extracted from non-GMO hemp using supercritical CO2. The CBD hemp oil is then purified using a proprietary process to filter plant material and remove excess waxes. This process produces a nearly- pure CBD isolate powder but removes the additional cannabinoids, terpenes, and other compounds that full-spectrum hemp oil contains.
Cannabis concentrates are well known for their high cannabinoid content, and Dixie Botanicals® hemp oil extracts are no different. The concentration of CBD oil in our concentrates is between 30% and 99%.
With a thick, sap-like consistency, our full-spectrum Dab Oil contains 30% CBD, as well as flavorful terpenes and trace levels of many other cannabinoids. This allows users to take advantage of the entourage effect, which takes place when the cannabinoids and terpenes found in cannabis are able to work together for magnified effects.
Our most potent CBD product, flavorless and odorless Dixie Botanicals® CBD Isolate contains a soaring 99% CBD. Since it is almost entirely pure CBD, isolate powder contains none of the terpenes or trace cannabinoids as our full-spectrum Dab Oil. CBD Isolate is preferred by those maximizing their CBD intake or looking to avoid THC.
Ways to Ingest
Both of these versatile CBD hemp oil concentrates can be consumed a number of different ways, giving users control over how they get their CBD each day.
Dabbing is a method of ingestion where a “dab” of cannabis concentrates is flash-vaporized and inhaled through a specially adapted water pipe. Dixie Botanicals Dab Oil and CBD Isolate can be dabbed off of any standard dab rig, providing rapid onset of effects.

Specially designed vape pens allow users to vaporize cannabis concentrates like Dixie Botanicals® Dab Oil and CBD Isolate for discreet use on the go. Similar in concept to dabbing, these vape pens use a heating element to bring your concentrates to their vaporization point. Then you simply inhale the vapor from the vape pen mouthpiece.
Infuse Food and Beverages:
Mix Dixie Botanicals® CBD Isolate and Dab Oil into your favorite foods to get your daily CBD intake in a meal. Add to beverages such as power smoothies or milkshakes for another delicious way.
Finally, both products can be taken orally and held under the tongue for absorption by the mouth’s mucous membranes – a highly efficient method for consuming CBD concentrates.
