Maximize Your Daily CBD with CBD Concentrates
CBD concentrates have taken the cannabis industry by storm because they allow you unrivaled access to some of the most potent CBD products on the market. They are extracted from the cannabis plant and filtered down to the highest concentrations, which takes CBD to new levels.
CBD concentrates provide fast, powerful effects that can be vaporized from a vape pen, dabbed from a dab rig, and even added to food and drinks. Check out our quick guide below to learn more about CBD concentrates.
What are CBD Concentrates?
CBD concentrates are high potency extracts of the hemp plant that contain large levels of the cannabinoid CBD. This allows you to take in high amounts of the cannabinoid quickly and efficiently and makes CBD concentrates a popular choice.
CBD concentrates are a “less is more” approach because they allow you to add high levels of CBD to your system with each use, which minimize the amount you need to achieve desired results.
Other manufacturers extract their CBD concentrates from the hemp plant using solvents like butane, ethanol, or hexane. Not Dixie Botanicals®.
We use safe, non-toxic supercritical CO2 in the extraction process to pull the active compounds from the hemp plant. This creates an oil packed with CBD, terpenes, and trace amounts of other cannabinoids. It can also be further refined to create a 99% CBD isolate powder.
These products can be vaporized using a dab rig or a vaporizer pen to create CBD-rich vapor clouds. When vaporized, the CBD is absorbed into the bloodstream much faster than when eating it and at a much higher level, which gives you the desired effects almost instantly.
Because our CBD concentrates are derived from the hemp plant and contain no more than trace levels of THC, they are non-psychoactive. Indeed, they give you a calm focus and the clarity to tackle whatever the day throws at you.
Crafted using the same award-winning hemp oil present in all our CBD products, Dixie Botanicals® CBD isolate is 99% pure powdered CBD. You can dab it as is or mix with other cannabis extracts to give you complete control over the potency and ratio of your dab.
If you’re into vapes, add CBD isolate to your vape juice or e-liquid for a CBD-infused vaping experience. You can also blend CBD isolate into your favorite foods and beverages, and because it is already decarboxylated, there is no need for further processing or heating.
What is Vaporizing?
Vaporizing is now a popular substitute for smoking, a trend boosted even more by the introduction of cannabis concentrates.
When you vaporize CBD concentrates, you heat them to their vaporization point with a heating element to create a thick vapor. In a vape pen, the heating element is called an atomizer, which heats your concentrate to its vaporization point once the vape pen is engaged. Then inhale from the vape pen mouthpiece.
Vaporizing is an effective way to get immediate effects from your CBD concentrate and is also one of the best ways to get the best of its nutrients.
What is Dabbing?
Dabbing is when you vaporize a dab ( a small piece of cannabis concentrate) on a hot surface - a “nail” - and inhale the vapor through a special water pipe called a dab rig or oil rig, which helps to cool and filter the vapor.
To begin dabbing, you will need:
- Dab rig
- Small blow torch
- Concentrate (like those from Dixie Botanicals®)
You can also add electronic nails to your dab rig that heat without a torch.
Follow the simple instructions below to start dabbing Dixie Botanicals® CBD concentrates:
- Load a dab onto your dabber. If you’re new, start small.
- With a specially designed torch, heat your nail until it starts to glow red. Then allow it to cool (10-30 seconds).
- Place dab-loaded dabber on the heated nail and inhale steadily. As the dab melts and rapidly vaporizes, rotate dabber to make sure all the concentrate is vaporized.
Be sure not to touch the hot nail and wait for all pieces of your dab setup are cool before handling them.
Specific instructions vary based on dab set up. Make sure to follow the instructions of your specific rig.
Other Uses of CBD Concentrates
CBD concentrates from Dixie Botanicals® are decarboxylated in the manufacturing process, increasing the levels of CBD present in the concentrate.
That means you can ingest Dixie Botanicals® products like our CBD isolate with food or beverages for added versatility in getting your daily CBD.
Importance of Safety Controls
Make sure you choose cannabis concentrates that have been tested to ensure their safety. Extraction processes found elsewhere in the industry not only concentrate cannabinoids in the oil but also concentrate contaminants like chemical herbicides, pesticides, fertilizers, and harmful solvents. This means their final product has pesticides at increased levels.
Not Dixie. All of the non-GMO hemp plants used to create our CBD oil products are grown free of chemical fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides. The cannabinoids are extracted using safe supercritical CO2 to protect you from contamination.
Our commitment to product quality and purity has driven Dixie Botanicals® to develop the strictest testing process in our industry - the Triple Lab Tested® standard. We use ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accredited testing labs to examine our hemp oil and assure both its safety and consistency. We test our hemp oil three times during our process to ensure that our products are completely safe for use, every time.
Purchasing CBD Concentrates
CBD concentrates derived from hemp are available in retail outlets and online across the U.S. and internationally.
Hemp has become a popular legal source of cannabinoids like CBD in countries around the world. Legal hemp is classified here in the U.S. as having a THC content of less than 0.3% by dry weight.
While CBD oil derived from marijuana may contain high levels of THC, the compound that gets you high, CBD from hemp contains only trace amounts of THC, far below the psychoactive level, and is therefore legal to purchase, ship, and use in all 50 states.
It is legal to manufacture products containing CBD from naturally low-THC hemp in the U.S. We worked with farms in the European Union to carefully test and review 3,000 cultivars (varieties) of hemp.
This is the best way to find the one that thrives and produces the optimal ratio of cannabinoids so that our CBD oil products meet restrictions in the U.S. and throughout the world. Nearly ⅔ of the 30 hemp-growing countries worldwide are in Europe, often on small family-owned farms and grown free of pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers.
CBD sourced from hemp is a legal dietary supplement sold in the U.S. Because CBD supplements derived from hemp are 100% legal under federal law to purchase, ship, and consume, you can take your Dixie Botanicals® products with you wherever you go.
CBD hemp oil products are also legal to purchase and import in over 40 countries, including nations in Europe, the Middle East, East Asia, and Latin America.
