  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk (dairy, almond, soy, or hemp)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds

Instructions:

  1. Add oats, milk, water, salt, and cinnamon in a medium saucepan. Bring to boil, and then reduce heat to low.
  2. Simmer uncovered for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until oatmeal thickens. Remove the saucepan from heat.
  3. Divide oatmeal equally into two bowls. Drizzle with CBD-infused honey. Top with sliced bananas, blueberries, sliced almonds.

  • 1 ½ tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • ½ tablespoon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 slices cheese (cheddar, American, pepper jack, or mozzarella)
  • 4 slices bread

Instructions:

  1. Combine tuna, Greek yogurt, mustard, onion, parsley, CBD Isolate, salt, and pepper into medium bowl. Mix well.
  2. Top two of the slices of bread with 1 slice cheese each. Spread tuna mixture over cheese slices and top with remaining bread slices.
  3. Place olive oil in skillet (non-stick if available) and set to medium heat.
  4. Once the oil is hot, add sandwiches to skillet. Cook until lightly browned on both sides.

Adding CBD to Dinner

CBD-Infused Pesto Pasta with Roasted Chickpeas

This recipe makes 2 servings.

Ingredients:

Roasted chickpeas

  • 1 can chickpeas, rinsed
  • Drizzle of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

CBD-infused pesto sauce

  • Dixie Botanicals® CBD Isolate
  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • ½ cup walnuts
  • ¾ cup freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
  • ½ cup olive oil

Pasta

  • 4 ounces bucatini pasta noodles (or your pasts of choice)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes

Instructions:

Roasted chickpeas

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Place the chickpeas on a sheet pan. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Arrange in an even layer.
  3. Roast chickpeas for 30 minutes, or until brown and crunch.

CBD-infused pesto sauce

  1. While the chickpeas roast, combine all the pesto sauce ingredients except the CBD Isolate, olive oil, and cheese in a food processor.
  2. Pulse until the pesto is blended into a slightly coarse paste.
  3. Transfer to a bowl and stir in the oil, cheese, and CBD Isolate. Set aside.

Pasta

  1. Fill a medium saucepan with water and set to high heat until boiling.
  2. Add pasta to water. Cook for 8 minutes or until soft, stirring occasionally.
  3. While pasta cooks, slice tomatoes into half or quarters so that they’re bite-sized.
  4. Drain the pasta and return it to the saucepan.

To finish the dish, add CBD-infused pesto sauce and tomatoes to the cooked pasta. Toss until coated thoroughly. Serve right away.
